Disciplinary Actions
Disciplinary action is a reprimand or corrective action in response to employee misconduct, rule violation, or poor performance. Depending on the severity of the case, disciplinary action can take different forms, including a verbal warning, written warning. .. etc.
Once the Disciplinary Actions are configured, HR Admins can take the appropriate action if an employee has broken a rule.

This page allows you to view the Disciplinary Actions history for all employees. By clicking add, the page below will appear.

Field | Description |
Employee Name | HR Admins must choose the employee from a dropdown list containing the names of all employees. |
Disciplinary Action Rule | HR Admins must select the rule that has been violated from a dropdown list displaying all the previously added Disciplinary Action Rules. |
Disciplinary Action Type | There are 2 forms of Disciplinary Action types that vary in accordance with how the Disciplinary Action Rule was established. If the rule was set to sequential, then the system will choose the Actions Types according to the order in the set-up. If the rule was set to separate, then the HR Admin will be able to select the desired action from a dropdown list with all the Action Types associated with this Action Rule. |
