How to exclude an employee from the social security deduction


If you have one or more employees who are not subjected to the social security deduction, either because they are not registered in the Social Security Corporation, or because they are not Jordanians, you can easily exclude them from the social security deduction following the below steps.

 

If the employee is not registered in the Social Security Corporation, follow the below steps:


Main Menu à Employeesà Employee Management  à Employee Profile  

  • In the Salary Package section, click on the “Create” button and create a new salary package (Make sure that no salaries are calculated)
  • In the Social Security Salary section, enter “ZERO” salary in the social security salary field
  • Click on the “Correct Information” button



 


If the employee is a Non-Jordanian, please follow the below steps:


Main Menu à Employeesà Employee Management  à Employee Profile 

  • In the Personal Info section, click on “Edit



  • At the bottom of the page, remove the “Citizen” option
  • Click on “Update Employee
