Defining a Holiday on ZenHR

Employees are entitled to a number of public holidays each year. Employees who choose to work on public holidays are entitled to overtime pay, in addition to other benefits.

On ZenHR, the HR admin must define all public holidays, whether they are external or internal. This is done to ensure the accuracy of all financial matters and vacation balances for each employee.

To define a holiday on ZenHR, please follow the below steps:

User  Menu à System Preferences à Holidays

Through the “Holidays” page, you will be able to define a new holiday by clicking on the “Add” button.

After clicking on the “Add” button, the below page will appear which shows the “Add Holiday” form that you need to fill out.
