The Manage Moved Balances page in ZenHR allows you to oversee and control all moved vacation balances for employees. This feature ensures efficient tracking of vacation balance movements, allowing HR admins to view, edit, and delete records as necessary. Balances can be moved manually through the Annual Vacations Setup or automatically if the auto-move option is enabled in the system preferences.
How to Access the Manage Moved Balances Page
To access the Manage Moved Balances page, go to Main Menu → Time Management → Leaves & Vacations → Manage Moved Balances.
Before managing moved balances, ensure that vacation types and balances have been set up correctly in the System Preferences.

Setting Up Annual Vacations
To view moved balance transactions, you must either manually move balances or enable the auto-move option in the Annual Vacations Setup.
How to Move Balances Manually
Go to User Menu → System Preferences → Annual Vacations.
Select the vacation type you want to move balances for.
Click on the “Move Balances” option under Actions.
Choose either Employee or Organization levels.
Select the relevant employee(s) or organization level.
Set the date range for the balance movement.
Click “Move Balance” to confirm.
To enable automatic balance movement:
In the Annual Vacations Setup, enable the Auto move vacation balances checkbox.
Then click “Update”.
Manage & View Moved Balances
Use the Filters option to narrow down the records displayed based on specific criteria.
Click on the record to view detailed information about the moved balance.
To delete a moved balance, click on the delete icon under the Actions column.
How to Export Moved Balances
1. Apply the desired filters if needed.
2. Click on the “Export as” button and choose the format (Excel or PDF).
