Overtime Exceptions 


Through the exceptional overtime feature, HR admins are now allowed to set different rates for overtime based on the company policy, so the system can calculate the values and show them on the recommendation page to take action.

How to activate this feature

Overtime Setup




The column “Default Type” has been added to this page allowing you to select the default overtime type for each rule to be recommended in the system pages.



In the overtime type setup page, the button “Add Overtime Exceptions” has been added allowing you to add an exceptional overtime rate for a specific day or a certain time of the day.



By clicking the button “Add Overtime Exceptions”, the below section will appear and you will be able to add more than one overtime exception.


By Adding an overtime exception, the transaction amount will be calculated based on the exception day/time rate, and if the transaction day is an overtime exception day.



Shifts Setup


User Menu à System Preferences à Attendance & Time Tracking à Work Shifts


The button “Add Overtime Exceptions” has been added allowing you to add an exceptional overtime rate for a specific day or a certain time from the day for the employees that is linked to this shift.



By clicking the button “Add Overtime Exceptions”, the below section will appear and you will be able to add more than one overtime exception.


By Adding an overtime exception, the transaction amount will be calculated based on the exception day/time rate, and if the transaction day is an overtime exception day.
