A business asset is an item of value owned by a company. Business assets span many categories. They can be physical, tangible goods, such as vehicles, real estate, computers, office furniture, and other fixtures.

How to add a new asset


 User Menu à System Preferencesà Asset


Click Add to add a new asset.


  

To add a new asset, follow the below steps: 

  1. Choose the owner (Company, Branch...).
  2. Asset Type (Mobile, Laptop, SIM Card…).
  3. Asset Name (To better organize your assets assignments, it’s recommended to add the serial number and employee ID to the asset name).
  4. Description.
  5. Value of the asset.
  6. Notes.
  7. Production Date.
  8. Expiry Date.
  9. Attachments.

 

How to Assign an asset to an employee

Click add to assign a new asset to the employee.


 

To assign a new asset to an employee, follow the below steps:

  1. Choose asset type.
  2. Choose the asset.
  3. Enter the holding date.
  4. Add any notes.
  5. Enter dropping date – if applicable.
  6. Add attachments.
  7. Click create asset assignment.
