Slack Native Integration

 

A new feature has been added to ZenHR allowing you to “receive all of ZenHR notifications and reminders on your Slack account”.

How to Activate This Feature


Slack Setup


User Menu à System Preferences à Integration Setup à Slack Setup

 

Through this page, you will be able to activate Slack integration and activate the needed features.


 

After login into your Slack account on your web browser, and by clicking the button Save, the system will redirect you to the Slack web page to select the correct channel to which your ZenHR-Slack integration details will be sent to it.

 

 

By selecting the channel and clicking the button Allow, the button Sync with Slack will appear in the setup page, and you need to click it to start linking your employees’ accounts in ZenHR – Slack.

 

ZenHR app will be created in employees’ Slack accounts, and they will start receiving notifications on it.


 

Connected People


User Menu à System Preferences à Integration Setup à Slack Setup à Connected People


Through this page, you will be able to view the connected Slack accounts details and check if there are any issues in the connection.

 

 

 

Slack Integration Features


By activating Slack integration, you can activate the below:

 

Show Slack Status on ZenHR

By activating this feature, employees’ Slack status will appear on their profiles and in the employees’ directory. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Send Announcements & Events to Slack

By activating these features, HR admins will have the option to send announcements and events through ZenHR to employees’ Slack accounts.
