The Vacation Balances Report allows you to view and analyze employees' vacation balances within a specified year or period. This report can help HR departments track the vacation days taken, remaining balances, and any adjustments made throughout the year.
Accessing the Vacation Balances Report
Go to the Main Menu→ Time Off Reports →Vacation Balances Report
Generating the Vacation Balances Report
Year: Select the year for which you want to generate the report.
As of Date: Choose the specific date within the selected year that the report should consider.
Vacation Type: Specify the type of vacation you want to include in the report.
Ignore Future Transactions: Check this option to exclude any future dated transactions from the report.
Show Financial Effect: Check this option to include the financial impact of the vacation balances in the report.
Employee Filters:
Employee Name: Filter by specific employee(s).
Work Location: Choose from the list of work locations.
Department: Select the relevant department.
Section: Filter by section within the department.
Main Project: Include only those employees assigned to specific projects.
Hierarchy Group: Select the hierarchy group of the employees.
Position: Filter by the employee's position.
Work Type: Choose from different types of employment contracts (e.g., full-time, part-time).
Iqama Number: Filter by the residency number for employees working in countries where this is applicable.
Employment Number: Filter by the employee number.
Once you've applied the desired filters, click on “View” to generate the report.
The generated report will display the following columns for each employee: Previous Balance, Custom Setup, Open Balance, Leaves, Taken Vacation Days, Adjustments, Available Balance, and Total Balance.
Export Options
You can export the report in PDF or Excel format by selecting the appropriate option from the View dropdown menu.
